Bio
Formed after Simon Whittal moved from his hometown of Hereford to London with a shed load of songs under his belt. After several disasterous line-up's, Simon eventually met South African Rob Bayley (Bass), and Henri Anundi from Finland (Drums). They recorded a 3 song demo ("Vacant Mind", "Sleep In The Dark", "Sound Of Speed") on an 8-track Portastudio in late 2004, and then started gigging the London toilet circuit.

The first ever gig was at the Dirty Rider Club in Kilburn. That turned out to be quite eventfull when a full-on bar brawl broke out half way through one of the songs. Apparantly it was started by some local Chavettes. You should've seen it. It was like one of those completely ridiculous bar fights you get in Clint Eastwood films, or an episode of The A-Team, girls throwing bottles, the lot. What did the band do? Well they carried on playing of course. It kind of went with the music to be honest.

After several more gigs, Henri quit the band and moved home to Finland.

The band began auditioning new drummers, and eventually found Chris Benton from Essex. They were soon gigging again, opening for bands such as Slaves To Gravity, Spit Like This, Neils Children and Get Amped. They completed their 2nd demo (Jan 07). It was recorded by Lester at Ignition Studios in Finsbury Park.

Yes, I've finally decided to give bloogging a serious go, which seems a bit ironic as the band has just split up after doing our last gig. Or is it? There's still plenty of stuff to do online, AND I don't think this is the last you'll hear from Fuzzpilots. Infact I suspect it's just the beginning, only I can't tell you just yet what is going to happen in the future... Anyway, how did our last ever gig go at Camden's Bar Monsta on 02/05/08?... What a night...

Just thought i'd drop you a line being some of the only brits i've come across on fuzz so far. Sometimes it's good to change band members (not all the time like) but you can get a new perspective on things that we take for granted.

Anyhoo, if your ever heading up to leeds let me know i'll sort us all a gig out. Oh yeah!!
